My career has moved across biomedical informatics, hospital modernization, national workforce strategy, AI centers, higher-education governance, curriculum systems and research commercialization. The recurring method is to make the decision explicit, make the evidence visible, and then design the operating system around it.

My research in AI ethics builds on doctoral work in biomedical knowledge representation and drug–drug interaction inference at the University of Colorado Boulder (2015). I now focus that foundation on justice, accountability and the limits of delegation in AI-assisted decisions.
That combination has led to work ranging from drug–drug interaction research and personalized medicine to national workforce planning, AI strategy, digital patient platforms, research governance and venture translation.

The SHIFAA patient portal at King Abdulaziz University Hospital won the Jeddah Creativity Award 1440 in governmental creativity / excellence. I present this as recognition of the project and hospital team during the digital-modernization program.
The Information Technology Department at King Abdulaziz University Hospital received ISO 9001:2015 certification during my period leading hospital IT. This is an institutional quality milestone, not a personal certification.
KAUH Information Technology reported a Tier III data-centre classification, documenting the maturity of the hospital infrastructure program delivered during my IT leadership.
Microsoft Arabia publicly acknowledged the success of King Abdulaziz University Hospital's IT Infrastructure Upgrade project. I present this as external recognition of the delivery program and team.
KAUST documented that GenomeFit, co-established to support genetic screening and drug-response decisions, received funding from the TAQADAM University Startup Accelerator to further develop its service and business model.
