Explain part of a lecture and earn 3 marks
في المحاضرات الخمس القادمة، ابتداءً من الخميس 29 أكتوبر، يشرح ثلاثة منكم في كل محاضرة جزءًا من الفصل لزملائهم في 12 إلى 15 دقيقة، وأنا معكم أصحّح وأكمّل. لكل محاضرة 3 مقاعد، ولكل طالب مقعد واحد، والحجز بالأسبقية، ويحدد لك الدكتور الجزء الذي تشرحه بعد الحجز. المقعد عليه 3 درجات تُحسب من درجة المشاركة (10)، فهي ليست درجة إضافية فوق الـ100. المشاركة اختيارية، ومن لا يسجل لا تُخصم منه أي درجة.
In the next five lectures, from Thursday 29 October, three of you in each lecture explain one part of the chapter to the class in 12 to 15 minutes, and I correct and complete. Each lecture has 3 seats, one seat per student, first come first served; the instructor assigns your part after you book. A seat is worth 3 marks counted within the participation grade (10), not extra marks above 100. Taking part is optional and nobody loses marks for not booking.

Draft: one page summarizing your part, with the source slide number for every point, a new example of your own and one multiple-choice question for the quiz. Send it to arnoor@kau.edu.sa 48 hours before the lecture; I review it and reply with corrections.
استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي · بمساعدة الذكاء الاصطناعي: حسب سياسة الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي في كلية الحاسبات وتقنية المعلومات (الخيار C، النهج المختلط)، يمكنك استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في توليد الأفكار وتحسين لغة المسودة فقط. أما الملخص وأرقام الشرائح والمثال الجديد وسؤال الكويز فهي من عملك، وتتحقق منها من الشرائح، والعرض والإجابة عن الأسئلة تكون مباشرة بدون ذكاء اصطناعي. اكتب في آخر المسودة سطرًا واحدًا: اسم الأداة وفيمَ استخدمتها، أو «No AI used.». مستوى الذكاء الاصطناعي في كل تقييم.
Use of AI · AI-Assisted: under the FCIT Generative AI Policy (Option C, Mixed Approach), you may use AI to brainstorm and to improve the language of your draft. The summary, the slide numbers, the new example and the quiz question are your own work, checked against the slides, and you present and answer questions live, without AI. End the draft with one line: the tool and what you used it for, or “No AI used.” The AI level of every assessment.
